I can feel that freeze in the air which means there is snow falling down on the mountains at the moment. I love being down in Kosciuszko during winter and I’m planning on spending a bit more time there.
I captured this image in the middle of winter during a blizzard it really demonstrates the rough life these guys have during the colder months. The snow can get so deep and it would be hard work getting around.
If you get the chance to put on some snow shoes and have a walk around the Cascade Valley it is so worth it, especially after a fresh snow fall. It’s not an easy walk at all but so pretty in winter.
