Description
It’s getting to that time of year where photographers start to feel the weather change. The leaves start to fall and that small window we have to try and capture some unique colour is almost upon us.
This shot was taken a few years ago in the New England region of NSW just outside of Armidale. The property is a ten-hectare grazing property which was first inhabited by British settlers led by Henry Dumaresq in the 1830’s. Today it includes an elegant, extensive, fully furnished Edwardian homestead built between 1888 and 1906, and 15 farm and other buildings dating up to 1910 with their collections of early farm equipment.
If you’re a photographer and you are after a great autumn scene then don’t miss this little gem. Or if you just want to wander through a little piece of Australian history it is worth the visit.
