I definitely don’t consider myself a wildlife photographer. It’s hard work and I take my hat off to the great ones because it takes a ton of knowledge and patience.
I did love the chance to get a shot like this of a bird all Australians know and love. I travel overseas a lot but there is nothing quite like hearing the sound this bird makes when you get home.
To see five in a row trying to get warm in the snow is not an image I thought I would ever see let alone get so I was super excited to get it.
