Bled in Slovenia is beautiful at the best of times but on the day we landed, in my mind, it was perfect. It was snowing heavily with no wind so consequently the snow clung to the trees making for a photographic paradise.
A small island in the middle of the lake is home to the ‘Assumption of Mary Pilgrimage Church.’ It is one of my favourite locations I have ever had the privilege of photographing.
I slowed down the shutter speed a little to get the heavy snow fall flowing through the shot. Hopefully you can feel what it was like when I was standing there.
