Photography to me is all about trying to show people how I see the world. With that in mind, I try to set myself projects which aren’t necessarily about short-term gain but rather ideas which differ from the norm that challenge me to see and create with a more considered approach.
To that end, a few years ago I set myself a goal to shoot “Above the City” to showcase my unique perspective of one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Sydney. I am going to be holding an exhibition showcasing all of these images in print but this is the first release of that series simply titled ‘The House.’ I went up in the chopper at sunrise to capture one of the most recognisable pieces of architecture anywhere in the world. This is my take on the Sydney Opera House.
