A few years back I travelled to France and Italy. While I was in Italy I stayed at Bellagio on beautiful Lake Como. I had always wanted to shoot the Matterhorn and realised that I was within range for a sunrise if I travelled to the small little Italian town of Cervino. This would give me a shot of the Matterhorn from the Italian side which isn’t nearly as remarkable as the Swiss side but still a good shot to get and one of the bucket list. Unfortunately, I didn’t bet on Italian traffic or roads causing so many problems. Needless to say I failed to get a great shot of the Matterhorn but I do like this shot from the side of the mountain. It is an incredible place that I will try to get back to one day. Hope you like it.
