These guys have a tough job in Sri Lanka sitting up here trying to catch fish. It’s a bit of a dying trade – they don’t use bait but wait for large schools to come through and jag them.
Sri Lanka has so much to offer. To stand and photograph this with some great people is an afternoon I won’t forget in a hurry. We were pelted with rain at one point but no one complained. We just loved witnessing an age old tradition unfolding in front of us.
