Description
I’ve titled this print “Lady of the Forest.”
This isn’t just any image. It’s a stunning shot of a snow gum at Charlotte’s Pass, captured at the perfect moment as some intense weather was rolling into the snowy mountains. I couldn’t resist the call of the storm, so I jumped in my car, drove 7 hours and headed straight to the highest road in Australia, right up at Charlotte’s Pass.
Now, let me tell you, this area is known for having the most beautiful snow gums in the whole of Australia. The way these trees bend and twist, their incredible colours – it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before. And on this particular day, with the fog rolling in and the muted light casting everything in this soft, ethereal glow, the scene just came alive.
There, in the middle of it all, stood this one tree, its curves and bends shaping it into the image of a lady dancing in the forest. It was absolutely magical.
