I have travelled to a lot of beautiful places but none have quite the array of photographic opportunities that the Lofoten Islands in Norway present. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend it. The locations and light will leave you speechless.
Sometimes I travel to photograph places for a specific purpose and have shots in my head that I would like to get. Obviously Norway is one of those places. It is all about the Northern Lights and you have be careful not to get so fixated on getting those shots that you forget to keep your eyes open along the way. This shot was taken along the way – Lofoten is so generous with what it has to offer landscape photographers.
