This is an oldie but it means a lot to me. Years ago well before drones I took to the skies of my region, The Central Coast of NSW, in a helicopter to show people just how beautiful and diverse our region is.
This was one that has spurred some interesting conversations. I actually took this above the Calga beacon on the freeway looking out towards Wollemi National Park. If you look closely you can see the beautiful little town of Spencer that sits right on the Hawkesbury.
I took this image as part of my “Above the Coast” series. This was a challenging project because most peoples perceptions of the Central Coast was pretty beaches and not much else. Whilst we are lucky to enjoy the beach life, the Coast has more to offer and I was tasked with the challenge to find and capture those areas.
