Tour Overview

Join me, Glenn McKimmin, along with my renowned photographer friends David and Clare Oliver, on an exclusive photography tour through Mongolia. This adventure takes you deep into the remote Altai Mountains, where you will live like a nomadic eagle hunter for 10 glorious days.

On this tour, you will experience one of the world’s most captivating cultural events—the private Eagle Hunter festival. Unlike typical tours that battle crowds of hundreds for a photo, our group enjoys an intimate experience. You’ll capture stunning shots of Mongolia’s Eagle Hunters without the usual competition. This allows you to truly immerse yourself in this ancient tradition.

Throughout the journey, you will stay in traditional Kazakh gers, hosted by the last remaining nomadic Eagle Hunter families. These extraordinary people are known for their resilience and hospitality. They will share their way of life, providing rare photographic opportunities. You can expect dramatic landscapes, vast steppe grasslands, rivers, lakes, and snow-capped peaks. You will also capture powerful portraits of the hunters with their majestic eagles.

Our tour is fully equipped for your comfort. We provide spacious gers, modern SUVs, and meals prepared by our nomadic hosts. With three experienced instructors—myself, David, and Clare—you’ll receive personalized guidance throughout the journey. This isn’t just a photography tour; it’s an immersive experience designed for those who crave adventure.

Book your spot on our Mongolia Eagle Hunter Photography Tour. Explore the hidden wonders of the Altai Mountains and embrace an unforgettable adventure that combines luxury with authenticity. Come home with images that tell a story unlike any other.
